    Leaf & Grass Pick-Up
Leaves and grass should be placed on the edge of your street by 7 a.m. on Monday morning of the following schedule between April and November: 2nd & 4th week of the month

    Leaf Pick-up Guidelines:

Leaves and grass must be at roadside on Monday morning by 7 a.m. on the scheduled week of pickup. If leaves or grass are put out after that time and the pickup has already been made on your street, you will have to wait until the next scheduled pickup for them to be removed.
Leaves and grass need to be placed close to the road, raked up on road edge, but not on road.
Leaves and grass must be in a wind row for equipment to vacuum up quickly, no large piles which are hand labor intensive.
Absolutely no twigs or sticks should be in leaves or grass.
No garden trimmings, tomato vines, corn stalks, flowers, or shrubs are allowed.
No bagging of leaves or grass.
No returns to pickup items that were put out late or improperly placed.

    Limb Pick-Up
Limbs should be placed on the edge of your street by 7 a.m. on Monday morning of the following schedule between March and November: 1st full week of the month

    Limb Pick-Up Guidelines:

Limbs must be at roadside on Monday morning by 7 a.m. on the scheduled week of pickup. If limbs are put out after that time and the pickup has already been made on your street, you will have to wait until the next scheduled pickup for them to be removed.
Limbs should be stacked in one pile with the large end toward the edge of the street, not randomly pitched.
Only green or fresh cut limbs can be picked up. Rotten wood will not process through the chipper.
No pickup can be made of yard waste, garden waste, raked up waste, flowers or any items that will not go through the chipper. Hedge trimmings can be accepted if they are placed on top of the limb pile.
Limbs shorter than 3 feet or more than 5 inches in diameter cannot be picked up.
Only piles of brush, not twig piles, can be picked up.
Any foreign objects such as rocks, metal, lumber, etc. will contaminate pile and will keep pile from being picked up.
Building materials cannot be picked up.
This service is for limb removal only. Taking away entire trees is not covered.
Multiple family dwellings/apartments must pay fees according to quantities.
There is no daily pickup schedule guarantee.
No returns to pickup items that were put out late or improperly placed.

  4. Waterford Pond Closed For Fishing – (20 Mar – 3 May)

Your HOA board has approved for our Waterford pond to be closed for fishing during Mar 20th – May 3rd. During this period, there will be activities around the pond to include clean-up of the common area, installation of benches, and startup of our newly created fishing program. This program will include an annual fish stocking of the pond, with release of Bass, Bream and Catfish. During this period, we ask that you assist us by protecting their environment to allow for stress free acclimation and the natural spring spawning to occur, to include notification to the Board through email, phone or Facebook page, if you see anyone fishing during this restricted period.

Our new program will also introduce an annual “Kids” fishing tournament that will become a day to remember in our Waterford community! This program will introduce a “Catch and Release” policy to all fisherman, which we ask that all fisherman be Waterford residents or guests and that they immediately return fish back into the water. Catch and Release means that no fish are to be taken from the pond area, and we ask that all residents help enforce these policies. We will post new signs around the pond reminding fisherman of the Catch and Release policy.

Please share this policy with your children and other members of your family.

This year’s Kids fishing tournament will be on Sat May 2nd and we are looking for volunteers to make this a huge success. We will have prizes, food and drinks with details to follow. If you are able to volunteer for either to participate in our Fishing Program or with the fishing tournament, please contact our HOA board ASAP.

The pond will officially open back up on the 3rd of May or after the tournament is over. For this program to be a success, we need your support!

    Sincerely, Waterford Home Owners Board
